The new presiding bishop of the ELCA, Elizabeth Eaton, recently issued this challenge to all Lutherans: “The great themes of the Reformation—justification, grace, law and gospel, the theology of the cross, two kingdoms, the Lutheran scriptural hermeneutic—need to be claimed in our teaching, preaching, and living.” Jim Harrer, Maryann O’Brien, and Ted Fritschel will facilitate a conversation on how we can more fully integrate these themes into our daily lives.
