LISTS OF ITEMS FOR WELCOME  & BABY BASKETS

The items are placed in a plastic storage bin (with lid) no bigger than 20 quarts (so clients can carry them on the bus). You can purchase items new, pick items up at a thrift store (gently used), or gather items from your own home that you no longer need.

Baskets do not need to contain all of these items. We will provide a number of plastic bins for the group to help fill.

Items should be GENDER NEUTRAL* Diapers (disposable or cloth or both, Newborn and Size 1) * Warm Blankets * Onesies * Socks * Velcro booty shoes * Receiving blankets * Wipes * Wipes container case * Baby care set (bulb syringe, nail clippers, etc) * Crib sheets * Cloth Diapers (burp cloths) * warm long sleeve footed sleepers (0-9 months) * Long sleeve onesies (0-9 months)  * Plug Covers (for baby proofing house) * Cotton pants (0-9 months) * Hooded Towels * Baby Wash Cloths * Baby Hats (Newborn-6 months) * Baby Wash, Baby Oil/Lotion, Diaper Cream * Reusable Shopping bag (for mom and dad to use to carry baby items) * Sippy Cup (with handle and soft leak proof spout) * Baby spoons * Gift Card to Walmart (any amount) *If making a complete basket, please include a handmade card with a personal message from you. If you want to include a photo of you and your family, this is a wonderful way to personalize this gift for the refugee family that will receive it. We will have notecards available for us to sign at our gathering for baskets we make together.
