Pastor Arnie Voigt will tell us of his recent trip to Papua, New Guinea, which was the culmination of his journey 25 years in the making – adopting the project for translating the New Testament into the Ogea language. Pr. Voigt will talk about the dedication of the new translation, problems in Bible translation, and show slides of his trip. Pastor Voigt served parishes in Alabama and Colorado, and now (among many other things!) works to promote Palestine and on Palestinian human rights advocacy.
